Usage Note

Enthousiaste is invariable in ending — the masculine and feminine forms are identical: un public enthousiaste, une foule enthousiaste. The related noun enthousiasme (m) means 'enthusiasm'. The opposite is blasé, someone unmoved or indifferent.
