Usage Note
Math is the informal singular truncation of mathématiques and is used in everyday French speech, especially by students. It is always feminine plural in standard usage (les maths), though the singular la math is heard in very informal registers. The fuller form les mathématiques is used in formal or academic contexts.
Examples

Natural Translation
