Loger can be intransitive ('to stay somewhere': je loge chez des amis) or transitive ('to house someone': loger des étudiants). It takes the spelling change log-e- before a and o (e.g. nous logeons). The noun logement ('housing, accommodation') is closely related and very frequent.
