Usage Note
Inexploré (feminine inexplorée) describes territory, topics, or possibilities that have not been investigated. It is used both literally ('une région inexplorée') and figuratively ('un domaine inexploré de la recherche'). The opposite is exploré, and the related verb is explorer ('to explore').
