Enfler means to swell or become inflated, used for body parts swelling from injury or illness: sa cheville a enflé (his ankle swelled). It can also be used figuratively for prices or numbers rising sharply. The related noun is l'enflure (swelling). In informal Quebec French, enflure is also a mild insult.
