Usage Note
Biologique covers both scientific biology (une réaction biologique) and the everyday 'organic' label on food (des légumes biologiques, often shortened to bio in speech and on packaging). Bio as a standalone adjective or noun is extremely common in informal French — manger bio means to eat organic food. Gender is invariable in agreement; the plural is biologiques.
Examples
"Elle achète des fruits biologiques au marché."
Natural Translation
She buys organic fruit at the market.
