Usage Note
Unanimité is almost always used in the phrase à l'unanimité ('unanimously'). Faire l'unanimité means to win everyone over — a positive idiom (ce projet fait l'unanimité — everyone agrees on this project). The adjective is unanime and the adverb unanimement.
