Usage Note

Sculpter is the standard verb for creating sculpture. Note that the 'p' is silent in pronunciation: it sounds like skül-TEH. The noun is sculpture and the agent noun is sculpteur/sculptrice. The verb can be used figuratively: sculpter son corps (to sculpt one's body).
