Usage Note
Reposer has two closely related meanings: to place something back down (repose le verre sur la table) and, reflexively, to rest (se reposer). The reflexive form se reposer is the most common: j'ai besoin de me reposer ('I need to rest'). The related noun is repos ('rest, repose').
