Usage Note

Regorger is always used intransitively with the preposition deregorger de something means to be overflowing with it, abundantly full. Common collocations include regorger de ressources (to abound in resources) and regorger de touristes (to be packed with tourists). It is not used with a direct object and has no reflexive form in standard usage.
