Usage Note

Réseau covers all senses of network: a road or rail network (un réseau routier), a social or professional network (un réseau de contacts), a spy ring, and a telecommunications/internet network (le réseau WiFi). The plural is réseaux (the -eau → -eaux pattern). The phrase hors réseau means 'no signal' (off the network).
