Usage Note
Marocain refers to a person from Morocco or anything of Moroccan origin. The feminine form is marocaine, and the word is also used as an adjective: la cuisine marocaine means 'Moroccan cuisine'. When used as a noun, it is capitalized (un Marocain) to denote nationality.
