Usage Note

Leurs is the plural possessive adjective for both masculine and feminine nouns owned by a plural subject (leurs enfants = their children, leurs idées = their ideas). The singular form leur (without -s) is used with a singular noun (leur maison = their house). Do not confuse leur (possessive) with leur (indirect object pronoun meaning 'to them').
