Gelée covers fruit jelly (gelée de groseille = redcurrant jelly), the weather phenomenon of frost (gelée blanche = white frost), and in charcuterie the savory aspic (en gelée). As the past participle of geler (to freeze), it also means 'frozen' in compound weather terms.
