Fleuri literally means decorated with flowers (un jardin fleuri) but is also used figuratively to describe ornate, elaborate language or a style that is over-decorated (un style fleuri). The feminine form is fleurie, and the verb fleurir means 'to bloom' or 'to flourish'. Fleuri can also describe a rosy complexion (un teint fleuri).
