Embarrassant describes a situation or remark that causes embarrassment or awkwardness. The feminine form is embarrassante. Note the false friend risk: the English 'embarrassed' translates as gêné or embarrassé, while embarrassant (the adjective) is closer to 'embarrassing' — the causing agent, not the feeling.
