Embêtant is an informal adjective for something troublesome or inconvenient, roughly equivalent to 'annoying' or 'what a nuisance'. It is softer than énervant or agaçant. The feminine form is embêtante. The verb embêter means 'to bother' and the reflexive s'embêter means 'to be bored'.
