Also means
intentionally
Usage Note
Délibérément conveys that an action was taken on purpose, with full awareness — il l'a fait délibérément means 'he did it on purpose'. It is stronger than exprès in formal writing. The related adjective délibéré and the verb délibérer (to deliberate) come from the same Latin root.
Examples
"Elle a délibérément ignoré son message."
Natural Translation
She deliberately ignored his message.
