Usage Note
Casser means to break or smash something, and se casser (reflexive) means to break a body part (il s'est cassé le bras — 'he broke his arm') or, colloquially, to leave in a hurry. The expression casser les pieds à quelqu'un ('to break someone's feet') means to annoy them greatly.
