Blottir is almost always used reflexively as se blottir, meaning to curl up or nestle snugly — against a person, in a corner, or under blankets. The past participle blotti(e) is common as an adjective: blottie dans ses bras (nestled in his arms). It conveys warmth and seeking comfort.
