Usage Note
Aucunes is the plural feminine form of the negative determiner aucun/aucune, used only in fixed expressions or with nouns that exist only in the plural, such as aucunes funérailles or aucunes fiançailles. Outside these set phrases the singular aucune is used instead. Learners rarely encounter aucunes in everyday speech.
