Usage Note
Accusé is the masculine form of the past participle of accuser, used as a noun in legal contexts. The feminine is accusée. In postal or administrative French, accusé de réception means an acknowledgement of receipt (a confirmation that something has been received). The two uses are quite distinct in register.
