Usage Note

Énorme is invariable in form — the same spelling is used for masculine and feminine nouns. Colloquially it functions as an intensifier of admiration: c'est énorme ! ('that's massive!' / 'that's brilliant!'). The adverb énormément is a common substitute for beaucoup in spoken French.
