Usage Note

Zoomer is a direct borrowing from English, used in photography, film, and digital interfaces: zoomer sur une image (to zoom into an image). In French internet and youth slang it has also been adopted as a noun — un zoomer (a Gen Z person), borrowed from the English 'Zoomer'. The verb is conjugated as a regular -er verb.
