Usage Note
Typique functions just like English 'typical'. C'est typique ! is a common exclamation of exasperation — 'That's so typical!' The adverb is typiquement (typiquement français — typically French). It can precede or follow the noun, though following is more natural: un plat typique (a typical dish), une réaction typique (a typical reaction).
Examples
"C'est un plat typique de la région."
Natural Translation
It's a typical dish of the region.
