Usage Note

Rouler means to roll (of a ball or wheel) and, by extension, to drive or travel by road (on a bien roulé = we made good time on the road). In informal speech, rouler quelqu'un means to fool or cheat someone. Ça roule? is a casual greeting equivalent to 'How's it going?'
