Rosée is a poetic and meteorological word for the condensation that forms on surfaces overnight. The phrase la rosée du matin ('morning dew') is a classic image in French poetry and song. It should not be confused with rosé (m, 'rosé wine'), which is masculine and unaccented on the final -e.
