Radio is feminine as a broadcast medium (la radio, the radio) but can refer to an X-ray examination in medical contexts (passer une radio, to have an X-ray). It is invariable in the plural (des radios). Note the contrast: passer à la radio means 'to be on the radio', whereas passer une radio means 'to have an X-ray'.
