Quincaillerie refers to both the shop and the goods sold there (nails, screws, tools, fittings). Colloquially, it can also mean a collection of medals, badges, or gaudy jewelry — 'hardware' in the decorative sense. The person who runs the shop is a quincaillier (m) or quincaillière (f).
