Usage Note
Puceau is an informal, slightly crude word for a male virgin. The feminine equivalent is pucelle, which is also the archaic/literary term for a young girl (as in Jeanne la Pucelle, Joan of Arc). Both words are colloquial in sexual contexts; vierge is the neutral term. The plural is puceaux.
Examples
"Il est encore puceau à vingt ans."
Natural Translation
He is still a virgin at twenty.
