Organisation refers both to an organised group or body (une organisation internationale) and to the act or quality of organising things (avoir le sens de l'organisation — to be well-organised). The verb is organiser and the person is un organisateur / une organisatrice. In everyday speech, l'organisation d'un événement means the planning of an event.
