Opportun describes an action or moment that is well-timed or suitable to the circumstances; the feminine form is opportune. The adverb is opportunément and the noun is l'opportunité. The phrase en temps opportun means 'at the right time'. It is a formal word; in everyday speech au bon moment is more common.
