Mythe is masculine; the final -e is silent. The adjective mythique means 'mythical' or (in informal use) 'legendary/iconic'. The related mythologie refers to an entire body of myths. In everyday speech, saying c'est un mythe can dismissively mean 'that's just a myth' (i.e. it's not true).
