Mortuaire is the formal adjective for anything relating to death and burial: chambre mortuaire (mortuary room), pompes funèbres et services mortuaires (funeral services), avis mortuaire (death notice). It is more clinical and official than funèbre, which carries a more emotional or solemn tone.
