Also means
lousy, awful
Usage Note
Moche is informal/colloquial — it replaces laid ('ugly') in everyday spoken French and can describe appearance (c'est moche = 'it's ugly') or a situation (c'est vraiment moche ce qui t'est arrivé = 'that's really awful, what happened to you'). It is invariable in form for both genders. Avoid in formal writing.
Examples
"Ce bâtiment est vraiment moche."
Natural Translation
That building is really ugly.
