Usage Note
marrer is almost always used reflexively: se marrer means to crack up laughing and is firmly informal/colloquial. C'est marrant (adjective) means 'it's funny'. Avoid in formal or written registers; use s'amuser or rire instead.
Examples
"On s'est bien marrés hier soir."
Natural Translation
We had a good laugh last night.
