Usage Note
Inspiré comes from the past participle of inspirer and describes a person, work, or idea touched by inspiration. The ironic phrase ce n'est pas très inspiré (that's not very inspired) is commonly used to dismiss a dull suggestion. The feminine form is inspirée.
