Infirmerie refers to a small medical room in a school, barracks, prison, or workplace — not a full hospital. The person who runs it is the infirmier (m) / infirmière (f) ('nurse'). In French schools it is a familiar word for students: aller à l'infirmerie ('to go to the nurse's office') is a rite of passage.
