Indéfiniment describes something continuing without a fixed end point, such as attendre indéfiniment ('to wait indefinitely'). It is built from indéfini (indefinite) plus the adverbial suffix -ment. In grammar lessons, the article indéfini refers to 'un/une/des', but the adverb is entirely unrelated to that classroom use.
