Gratifiant is the present-participial adjective from gratifier ('to gratify, to reward') and describes experiences that give a sense of personal fulfillment. Its antonym is ingrat(e) ('thankless, unrewarding'). The feminine form is gratifiante: une expérience gratifiante.
