Usage Note
Décommander means to cancel an order, an appointment, or an invitation that was previously made. Décommander une réservation (to cancel a reservation) is the most common use. It is the opposite of commander in the sense of 'to order/to book'; the more neutral everyday synonym is annuler.
Examples
