Coincé is the past participle of coincer used as an adjective; it can mean physically jammed ('stuck in traffic' = coincé dans les bouchons) or, informally, 'uptight' or 'repressed' about a person. The feminine form is coincée. The verb coincer also means 'to catch' a suspect.
