Usage Note
britannique refers to anything from Great Britain or the United Kingdom. As a noun, un/une Britannique means a British person. It is distinct from anglais ('English'), which refers specifically to England; a Scottish person is britannique but not necessarily anglais. The plural is britanniques for both genders.
