Usage Note
Belge is both adjective ('Belgian') and noun (un/une Belge, a Belgian). Unlike most adjectives of nationality, it does not change form between masculine and feminine. Belgium is la Belgique, and Belgians are famously associated with gaufres, chocolats, and frites.
