Bazar originally meant an Eastern market or bazaar, borrowed through Persian. In modern colloquial French, quel bazar! means 'what a mess!' and is one of the most common informal expressions for disorder. Ranger le bazar means to tidy up the mess. The final 'r' is pronounced.
