activé is the past participle of activer used as an adjective, meaning switched on, enabled, or triggered. It is common in technology contexts (le Bluetooth est activé) and chemistry (charbon activé = activated charcoal). The feminine is activée. Note that actif/active describes a habitual state, while activé describes a deliberate switching-on.
