Usage Note

accès is invariable — the plural is also accès (the final 's' is always written, never pronounced). Beyond physical access, it describes a sudden episode: un accès de colère is a fit of anger, un accès de fièvre a bout of fever. Avoir accès à means 'to have access to'.
