Éditeur can mean a book publisher (un éditeur de livres) or a text editor in computing (un éditeur de texte). The feminine form is éditrice. The company sense (publishing house) is une maison d'édition; the person sense is un éditeur. Do not confuse with rédacteur (writer/editor of content).
