Usage Note

Tralala is an informal, slightly dismissive word for excessive fuss, ceremony, or ostentation. Faire des tralalas means 'to make a big fuss'. It can also be used as an interjection mimicking a carefree singing sound, similar to English 'la-la-la'. Generally used with a tone of mild mockery.
