Also means
replica
Usage Note
Réplique has two quite distinct senses: a sharp retort in conversation, and an exact copy or replica of an artwork. In theatre it also means a cue or an actor's line — donner la réplique à quelqu'un means 'to act opposite someone'. The verb form is répliquer ('to reply' or 'to replicate').
Examples
"Il a eu une réplique brillante."
Natural Translation
He had a brilliant comeback.
